Win #20 on the 20th?

game69.gifAfter having their home win streak snapped by the Bulls on Wednesday, OKC looks to start a new streak tonight against the Jazz.  The last time Utah stopped in Oklahoma City, the Thunder sent them home with a 114-93 loss.

The Jazz snapped a three game losing streak against the Wizards on Tuesday and will be looking to pick up another easy win to get back on track.  Utah is currently 7th in the West with a 1.5 game lead over the Mavericks in 8th but only 2 games behind the Rockets in 3rd.  A loss tonight to the Thunder will damage their morale, jeopardize their position as 7th, and make it hard for them to improve their position.

With a win tonight and a loss by the Timberwolves (who will be in Houston and should most likely lose), the Thunder will move into a tie with Minnesota for fourth in the Northwest with all of the momentum on OKC's side.  Finishing fourth with the preseason expectations and the way the first half of the season went would be an impressive feat.  A win tonight goes a long way to accomplishing that.
