Win number twenty will have to wait, and games like last night explain much of the recent good fortune. Chicago came to town fighting for a playoff spot and ended Oklahoma City's four-game home victory streak. The Bulls and Thunder played a back and forth contest until a third quarter collapse doomed the hosts.
Nothing else really to write about given how well OKC has been playing. I don't want to consider the mini-run a fluke, but the lack of defense in the 103-96 defeat certainly takes some of the air out of my sails. Friday will show if the Thunder are mentally ready to compete with the NBA's big boys and should allow Coach Brooks to get things ready for next year. Utah is one of the better clubs in the league, and it will take a complete effort to stop them.
