The Thunder play host to the Washington Wizards tonight at the Ford Center. OKC has won two games in a row and is looking for their first three game winning streak of the season. That effort will be hampered by a lack of Kevin Durant and the fact that Jeff Green is also likely miss the game. However, if we can defeat the Mavericks without our top two, we ought to be able to take down the weak Washington Wizards.
The injuries to Durant and Green may actually be a blessing in disguise. This season is lost, and with the big two out, the team is getting the opportunity to see which of the other potential role players have the ability to step up when needed. This information will be extremely valuable for the future in regards to the draft and free agency.
