The Thunder play host the the San Antonio Spurs tonight and will attempt to extend their home win streak to 4. The Spurs will be looking to extend their lead in the race for the 2 spot in the West.
Tonight's game will be a defensive matchup as the Spurs have one of the better defenses in the league and the Thunder have been playing better defensive as of late. The slower, lower scoring game is better suited to the Thunder's style.
Ironically, the last game against the Spurs was a 109-104 contest that ended in the Spurs favor. That game wasn't as close as the score makes it sound as the Spurs had at one time a 26 point lead in the first half. The big key to tonight's game will be keeping the game close to give OKC the opportunity to get the win in the final few minutes.
