In the previous meeting between the Raptors and Thunder this season, OKC came into the game with only two wins and were in the midst of an eight game losing streak. Oklahoma City picked up the big 91-83 win to stop the slide and first showed signs of breaking out of futility. Back then, no one expected that the Thunder would reach 20 wins or that the Raptors would still "be alive" (although barely) in the playoff hunt this late in the season.
Fast forward to today, where the Thunder are struggling (relatively speaking): losing five of the last seven. The Raptors have won two in a row and are looking for their first three game win streak of the season. This game is a must have for OKC if they are going to finish 4th in the Northwest and a must have for Toronto if they wish to remain alive in the East.
For the Thunder, tonight's game is going to be won on the boards. Both teams average around 98 points per game and give up around 102, and so getting the advantage from additional shots should push this game into OKC's favor. Expect this game to be higher scoring than the previous contest with the Thunder coming away with a 103-96 victory.
